Energy Healing is a time honored method of healing found in nearly every culture in the world. Energy Healing embraces healing techniques with names you may have heard: Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Healing Touch, HeartMath, Quantum Touch, Theta, etc. It extends into work that appears to be strictly hands-on, such as Craniosacral Therapy. Many of these “hands-on” treatments can be done long distance as well as in person.

Energy Healing can be particularly helpful for individuals who are:

Scheduled for surgery, or have just had surgery and want to speed their healing process.

Recovering from an injury and want to reduce bruising, speed healing of broken bones, and gain relief from pain.

Undergoing chemotherapy and desire relief from the adverse effects of the treatment and / or swelling around shunts.

Suffering depression and grief from the loss of a loved one can experience improvement in their emotional state.

What to Expect

The healing session can take place at any time appropriate for you. For example, it could take place before, during, and / or immediately after surgery.

Entering your energy field is a very intimate experience, which requires your permission. After receiving permission, the energy field is assessed to provide a baseline of what is present. A sacred space is prepared and connection with your energy field is made before starting your treatment. In this initial greeting, the agreement to receive energy is reaffirmed. Although you have signed an informed consent form prior to treatment, this energetic greeting confirms energy healing is still desired and appropriate. Even when you are under anesthesia, the energy field and higher self are still present and able to give permission to begin.

Surgery - energy is directed to three areas.

The surgical site with the intention to stop unnecessary bleeding and speed healing.

The body outside of the surgical site area with the intention of maintaining stability of the whole body.

The surgeon (with his or her permission) with the intent of facilitating a peak performance state.

Chemotherapy - Energy is directed with the intention of the healthy cells remaining healthy and the body being free from discomfort and nausea. It is also sent to the cancer cells with the intention of them becoming smaller, fragile, and more susceptible to the treatment.

Physical Injury - Energy is directed to the injured area with the intention of rapid healing and reduced bruising. This work is especially powerful with bone injuries. At the conclusion of the session, the body is reassessed. Areas of energetic imbalance are brought into balance.

When working with an infant, small child, the elderly, or an animal the amount of time spent working may be less.

Consultation - Energy Healing is at its most powerful when the focus and intent are clear. You are encouraged to contact me to clarify your needs and expectations.

Consent - An informed consent form needs to be signed and returned before any treatment can be performed (California State Law). Consent Form. If the treatment you want to schedule is for someone other than yourself, you must either be the parent of the minor child in question or legal guardian (conservator) of the adult you wish to have treated. Ideally, the direct permission of the minor child or dependent adult has been obtained.
